Why not just use Inventor's built-in thread tool?

Inventor's thread tool creates cosmetic threads — lightweight representations that look correct in drawings but have no real geometry. They cannot be meshed for FEA, exported accurately for 3D printing, or rendered correctly in close-up views. Thread Modeler generates actual solid helical geometry that works in all three workflows.

Which Inventor version is supported?

The current release supports Autodesk Inventor 2018. Support for additional versions is planned. If you need a specific version, contact us.

What thread standards are supported?

Metric (ISO), Unified National (UNC/UNF), ACME, and custom user-defined profiles. If your standard is not listed, use the custom profile input.

What do I get when I buy?

You receive the .addin installer file and installation instructions via email after purchase. Installation takes under two minutes — open Inventor and the add-in appears in the ribbon.

Is there a trial?
